Coco Jones New Take on R&B

Between social sites like Instagram or TikTok, particular audio or visuals is what's driving streaming services like Apple, Spotify, Amazon and Tidal tremendously. Influencers and content creation leverage their business when utilizing trending songs that are captivating and groundbreaking. This also helps elevate the artist business as well. A woman that continues to prevail over those boundaries by staying unique and true to herself is the remarkable Coco Jones. Her sultry, raspy, anointed vocals on her latest R&B record “ICU” has accumulated over 33 million streams on Spotify, 37 million views for her music video on YouTube and earned her a spot on the Hot Billboard 100 landed her at #63 after just 4 weeks of the singles release. Jones’s success attributes to her early years as she became a sensation after her performance for a NFL football game signing the National Anthem at just age 9. This soon caught the attention of executives and ultimately earned her a recording artist contract with Hollywood Records. Jones’s talent becomes even more mesmerizing as she executes acting roles through Disney Productions. She guest starred on tv series “Good Luck Charlie “ and starred in the movie “Let it Shine “ with Tyler James Williams. Shortly after she ended her relationship with Disney to pursue music further working with Grammy nominated producers like Bryan-Michael Cox, Darkchild and Eric Hudson. Jones returned to the main screen in 2022 when she revived the vibrant fashionista characteristics of Hilary Banks of classic sitcom “The Fresh prince of Bel-Air” on Peacock. In previous years Jones released R&B and dance pop EP’s which led to her phenomenal success, the album ”What I Didn’t Tell You”. Her second single ICU made headlines but her creative attributes with songwriters Babyface and Courtney Jones made songs like “Caliber”, “Double Back" and “Simple” the ultimate classic 90’s R&B vibe. The realness of 90”s comes into fruition as Jones recently collaborated with Disney veteran and NSYNC member Justin Timberlake for the “ICU” Remix this summer. This arrived perfectly as Coco executed a 16 cities U.S tour in the month of August. Coco Jones continues to make waves and is placing her mark on breaking barriers and solidifying her spot in the R&B scene.
